Top Tourist Attractions in CANADA

Very few countries have as much amount of natural and man-made scenery as the Canadian land has. Being the largest country in the North American region, Canada has a number of tourist attractions which consist of virgin forests, arctic tundra, and vibrant cities. I really enjoyed my stay while there , even though I was wearing a waist cincher back then ,which had a small impact on the overall satisfication ( was wearing one for medical uses ) .

  1. Vancouver

Situated at the junction of the Coast Mountains and the Pacific Ocean in the British Columbia, Vancouver offers all that a tourist may expect from a single city in a single day. You can swim in the crystal clear waters, ice-skate on the mountains and praise the natural and man-made landscape all in one day. While in Vancouver, consider going to Stanley Park, Granville Island, and China Town.

  1. Banff Natural Park

It is not only the nation’s oldest but also the most visited national park. The Trans-Canada highway passes right through the park. The breathtaking scenery, the diverse life-style, and the pure environment attract a large number of national and international tourists here. The wildlife consists of black bears, grizzly bears, bison, moose, bighorn sheep, wolves and bald eagles.

  1. Niagara Falls

Any reference of Canada is not complete without mentioning the Niagara Falls. The world-record holding falls are probably the most amazing and beautiful natural thing in both America and Canada. Situated exactly on the America-Canada border, the Falls welcome the largest number of tourists to any single place in Canada. The best place to see the falls is from the Queen Victoria Park especially in the summer when the fireworks illuminate them.

  1. Montreal

After Toronto, it is considered as the second largest city in Canada. It is the financial and the cultural hub of the Quebec region. This city has the largest French community outside of the Paris. Comprising of a Downtown district, an entertainment district, a historic quarter and a number of distinct neighborhoods, Montreal is a city worth seeing. The main tourist attractions it has to offer are downtown skyscrapers such as the ancient buildings of Old Montreal, the Olympic Tower and a lot of fun places like water parks, etc.

  1. Vancouver Island

The largest island off the west coast of North America, the Vancouver Island is named after the British explorer George Vancouver. It is located in the Washington State and can be easily accessed from the San Juan Islands via a ferry. You can also go from the Vancouver mainland using the same way of transport. The city of Victoria, Butchart Gardens, the surf town of Tofino and the wilderness in the north are the places of interest for a large number of tourists.

Canada has a very diverse topography and culture, the nation is one of the nations that welcome tourists with an open heart. These are the best touristic attractions in Canada, and one thing can be said for sure that if you go to Canada and do not visit these places, your visit to Canada is of no use.

Canada is one of the very few countries in the world having immensely diversified natural and artificial scenery. The natural attractions vary from the highest tides in the world at the Bay of Fundy to the rare temperate rainforests on the western coast. Standing on the CN tower and looking at the city of Toronto spread before the field of vision is one hell of a scene. This is the first and the foremost thing you can do in Canada. Here are the Top 4 things to do in Canada:

1. Horseshoe Falls (Niagara Falls Canada Side)

The Canadian side of the World-Famous Niagara Falls is named as the Horseshoe Falls owing to their shape which the Mother Nature has blessed them with. To their comparison, the American counterpart of the falls is a mere Dwarf. Having a lunch at the Skylon Tower which gives a 360-degree panoramic view of the falls can be a lifetime experience. Do make a reservation before going there because due to the immense volumes of tourists, walk-ins may not be entertained.

2. Quebec Province

For people interested in exploring and experiencing different cultures, the Quebec Province is an awesome place to go. The art, food, music, traditions and everything of this area is distinctly French-Canadian. If you learn a few words and phrases of French before going there, you can make the best out of the tour. Here you can visit the 2nd largest French-speaking city in the world, Montreal. If you want to witness the history of colonial France, Consider going to Quebec City, the only stone-walled North-American city.

If you want to visit a city which gives you the insight equal to visiting a large number of cities, Toronto is the best option. It is one of the most diverse and cosmopolitan cities in the world having incredibly diverse art, fashion, cuisine, music, entertainment, and culture. The CN tower gives a breathtaking view of the great lake surrounding the city of Toronto. The city of Toronto also has the Dundas Square, a Canadian version of the Times Square but a little lesser in size and prestige. While in the summers, you can experience Caribana, one of the largest Caribbean festivals in the world and that is surely one hell of a thing to do in Canada. The city practically swells in size during the days of this festival.

Montreal Vacation Travel Guide | Expedia

It’s my hometown and is every bit as beautiful as this video shows. It’s so gorgeous that I feel like a tourist every time I walk downtown (even though I’ve lived here most of my life). The best times to come are between May and October. Only come in the winter if you love winter sports and very cold weather. There is the largest underground city in the world to protect you from the elements… but it’s mostly shopping malls and tunnels. If you live in North America you should definitely go. There’s nothing that even remotely compares.
